Custom Software & Automation

Bespoke software & web apps

Customer portals, booking and quoting systems, and web applications with secure logins, accounts and payments, built for one business.

The work

Sooner or later a business outgrows off-the-shelf software. Generic booking tools cannot price jobs the way you quote them, portals are someone else's product with your logo stamped on, and every new staff member adds another monthly licence fee for features you never use.

We build the exact application your workflow requires, including customer accounts with secure sign-in, daily operational screens for your team, and integrated bookings, payments or subscriptions. Automations move records between systems without manual re-typing. We build with modern frameworks like Astro, React and Next.js on managed hosting sized for small businesses, and your code, data and accounts always remain in your name.

How it runs

Understand

We watch how the work really moves, which is never what the process document says. Where does it stop? What gets typed in twice? What only works because Dawn on the front desk remembers the workaround, and what happens the week Dawn is in Portugal?

Scope

Then we pick. Whatever costs the most hours or carries the most risk goes first, written up as a bounded job with a price on it. You'll know exactly what you're getting before anyone writes a line of code.

Build

We build it, then put it in front of the people who actually have to use it every day, while it is still cheap to change. They always find things we missed, which is the whole reason they see it in week two rather than at the handover.

Handover

You get the working system, clear documentation, and a handover to whoever owns the process. Keep us involved afterwards if it helps. The point is that you do not have to.

Get in touch

Get your systems sorted

Tell us where the work gets stuck, repeated, delayed, or held together by a workaround. We will reply with whether it is something we can help with, what the next step would be, and the rough shape of the job.
