How this site uses cookies, and how to change your choices.
About cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This site also uses local storage, which works in the same way. This policy refers to both as cookies.
Only strictly necessary storage is set automatically. Advertising cookies are set only if you accept them.
The durations below are maximums. Some browsers, including Safari, delete storage set by scripts sooner, so in practice a cookie may last days rather than months.

How we count visits
Plausible Analytics counts every visit: the page, the site you came from, links and buttons clicked, your browser and device, and your approximate location from your IP address.
It stores nothing on your device. Plausible works out a code from your IP address and browser that changes every day, so one visit is counted once, and then discards the IP address. The code cannot be linked to you, to your other visits or to any other website.
Storing nothing on your device is why this needs no consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. To keep your visits out of the count, block plausible.io in your browser.
Advertising cookies
If you accept, this site loads Google's tag. When you arrive from one of our Google ads and later send an enquiry, Google records that the ad led to it, and we use that to decide where to spend on advertising. Google also sets and reads its own cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net, under Google's privacy policy.
If you decline, or before you choose, the Google tag does not load and nothing is sent to Google. The ad click reference stays in the open page and is not stored on your device.
If you withdraw consent, we delete the advertising cookies and storage this site set. Cookies Google holds on its own domains can be cleared in your browser or in your Google account.
The chat window
The chat stores only the conversation reference listed above, and sets no tracking cookie. Messages you send are stored on our systems in London and used to answer you. Replies are drafted by an AI model, as set out in the privacy notice. If you give contact details, we treat them as an enquiry.
Conversations are deleted automatically 90 days after your last message. Ask us and we will delete one sooner.
Third-party cookies
The only third-party cookies are Google's, and only if you accept advertising cookies.
Visit counts come from Plausible Analytics, an EU company whose servers are in the European Union. Plausible sets no cookies.
Managing your choices
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to change or withdraw your consent.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. The site will still work.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the last update.
